These Ugandan baskets are hand made by women around Ford Portal, at the foothills of Mt Rwenzori (Mountains of the Moon), Western Uganda, using banana fibres. Although they vary slightly in size, they are a minimum of 30cm diameter and have a variety of unique designs and colours. They are great as fruit bowls or for storage.
